Our services:
- We offer two different service options and a transparent pricing policy. Your texts can be processed in all conventional formats under MS Windows and Mac OS.
- To prepare a (for you) non-binding fixed quotation, we require the texts to be translated (e.g. your documents or a web address).
- Documents must be provided in an editable form at the latest when the order is placed. PDF files are also sufficient for the quotation (these are converted for the analysis; however, the quality of such converted files is frequently unsuitable for the actual translation).

Supplementary services – alignment of existing documents in multiple languages / creation of translation memories
Do you have documents or web pages in multiple languages that you would like to merge into a single translation database (translation memory or TM)? Each document is carefully checked to optimise its machine readability before being aligned using a special alignment tool. This involves reading in the content so that the German and English sentences, for example, are displayed next to each other in the tool (analogue to an Excel spreadsheet). An export file is then created, which is subsequently imported into a TM.
This means that your existing documents can be taken into account in subsequent translations. If changes are made to a document (such as a contract), a TM ensures that the changes, however minimal, are highlighted for translation while the other content remains untouched.
To support the translation process, we can also create translation memories from external multilingual online resources (such as publicly available European directives or other web content) that relate directly to your industry.
