The translation memory tools (computer-aided translation software or CAT) SDL Studio Trados 2022, Across 7.0 and Transit NXT are used to ensure the consistency of your translations über Jahre hinweg.
All of your translations are permanently stored in a dedicated database which can be supplemented with your glossaries or terminology lists. This ensures that
- you always only pay for new translations (respectively proportionately for amended contents),
- the correct terminology is always used in the right context even years later.
A large pool of terminology databases for a broad range of specialist fields as well as translation databases (translation memories or TMs) with, for example, bilingual European and German standards, directives and laws ensure the correct use of the appropriate terms and phrases in every respective case.
If your documents are based on specific European or German directives, standards, regulations or laws, the corresponding TMs are created in advance and free of charge from the official German and English texts.
